Shamima Counselling is the data fiduciary for this website. Practitioner: Shamima, Counselling Psychologist. Contact: hello@shamimacounselling.in.

Only what booking requires: your name, email, phone, preferred language, the service and time of the appointment, and — for clients under 18 — the guardian's name and relationship. We record the timestamps and version of your consents, and your IP address as evidence of consent.

We never collect symptoms, diagnoses, session notes, assessment results or documents. The website is not a clinical record system — clinical records are maintained separately by the practitioner.

To schedule and deliver your session, confirm and remind you about it, contact you about changes, and evidence the consent you have given. Appointment date, service and payment status support the practice and basic record-keeping.

Consent — given freely via an unticked checkbox before you submit a booking, and revocable at any time. Guardian details and consent records are kept to meet legal obligations.

Twelve months after your appointment, personal fields are automatically cleared and the record anonymised. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time; it is done immediately.

Hosting (Cloudflare Workers), database (Neon) and email (Resend) process this data for us. Nothing is sold; no advertising or behavioural tracking is used.

Some providers may process data outside India, under their published terms and applicable law.

Ask for access to, correction of, or erasure of your data, or withdraw consent at any time: hello@shamimacounselling.in, or the management link in your confirmation email. We respond within 30 days. Complaints may first be raised with us and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

For clients under 18 we require verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, captured with their name, relationship and timestamp. The site does not track children or show them advertising.

No advertising or analytics cookies are set. The only cookies are a language preference and the admin session — strictly functional, so no consent banner is required.
